Congrats To Ron and Laura!

Not to steal Ron's thunder but an event worth noting here is the addition of the new Lau baby Bethany! Congrats to the proud family.

10 Years and Counting

Wow. It's been 10 years already? Yep! August-ish of 1995 I remember the goon squad helping me unload the car into the dorm and shortly after I met my first KKF2A-er, Lauren. Despite having moved into a single (closet) on Flint 2A I was lucky to be surrounded by the greatest people ever. Soon after moving in I met the rest of you and it's history from there. Within days you had me out enjoying college life and I'm convinced I would have died in that single (closet) if I hadn't been DRAGGED out to my first party by my instant drinking buddy Tessa. From our first movie out on the lawn (someone feed that monkey!) to my first round of shots with Goldschlager it was pretty much a blur. I took refuge from the shots in Alan's room where I saw DOOM for the first time - my new addiction. I wish I had $10/hr. for all the hours we spent playing DOOM, quake, and Quake II :) Nah... I'm lying, I'd pay at least $10/hr. to play them all again :) That's when I first met Ritti too. He has changed a lot since then. :) Of all the people I've ever met, I think Ritti has impressed me the most with personal growth. Hours playing Dr. Mario in Scott & Dan's room too :) Jeopardy too. That was the year I wrote the butterfly song too. May not be widely known, but Mark was the inspiration for one of the verses. I'll let you guess which one :) It was one of the best years of my life. It went by too fast and now I look back and it's 10 years ago. Sheesh. I'm honored to have met you guys and impressed that our friendships have remained strong despite time and distance apart. I went to send out an email notice about it being 10 YEARS and realized that our yahoogroup has been washed away. So I re-created it and will be getting in touch with everyone to sign you back up so we can talk more this year than ever.
